Trancoso

Yesterday, for the first time we had a few moments of sunlight! Although it was more like playing hide and seek and running from the rain, we still had some great moments in the ocean `singing in the rain` :) But  no tan yet :( its funny, last year in Connecticut on christmas eve we were eagerly awaiting the first snow shower, and now, here we are, eagerly awaiting the sunlight!

Trancoso, (a 40 min. drive from where we are in Arraial d'Ajuda) is adorable... we all fell in love with the artistically decorated little restaurants, shops and houses along the main area called `Quadrado`. The energy of the place is really special,  our style of a place.

This is the main square with the historical church on the far end, and on both sides of the grassy area there are all kinds of little delightful houses.

Always accompanied by our favourite south african/australian trio!

And we even got to have some beach time! Even though it was cloudy, the beach was still amazing.

This photo is especially for Erron, who deeply enjoyed looking at this pure latina breed, with the whole hair in the wind thing going on... :)
